Where do i put my activate KEY?


If you do not get our activation emails, you must login to a paid account and use your activate key. When you login, the first page you see should have you a small form to enter your Activate KEY and activate your first mp3. Once you have activated atleast 1 mp3, you should see your mailbox drive properly.

If you need to activate other mp3s using your activate key, click on You have 1 unactivated file(s). in the upper left of your Mailbox Drive. From this link you can resend your activation emails and/or activate mp3s one at at ime with your activate KEY. Please be sure to allow 5 or 10 minutes for newly activated mp3s to start working.

You can find your activate key at the bottom of YOUR PROFILE page when you are logged in.


 

Where are my MP3 Urls?


If you are not a logged in user, you can get your urls from clicking any activation link. Once you click the link you will be on a page that shows your url in the upper left box under the MAILBOX DRIVE logo.

If you are logged in, you can get the URL for any mp3 of your My Mailbox Drive home page. Right click the filename before and choose "Copy Link Location". This is your url.


 

Why can't I hear my MP3?


In order to hear an mp3 you have to play it, in order to play an mp3 you need some type of mp3 player. Some browsers will not play the bgsound mp3 codes. This code is the BACKGROUND mp3 code.


Our button uses a small Flash application that looks like this . If you cannot see the play and stop button after you click play, you probably do not have Macromedia Flash Player installed. Go to macromedia.com and click on install flash player.


Our button uses a small embed tag that looks like this . This code is the NORMAL mp3 code. If you cannot see this toolbar when you use the code you probably do not have Apple Quicktime Player installed. Go to apple.com and install Quicktime so your browser can load your mp3s.



 

Where are my Unactivated MP3s?


If you do not see all your mp3s listed on your mailbox drive, make sure you are logged in with the right email address. To activate unactivated mp3s please click on the You have 1 unactivated file(s). You will see a link to your unactivated files only if you have mp3s that are unactivated. The link is on the upper left corner of your Mail Box Drive.

If you think you are missing an MP3, the fastest way to get it back is to upload again. We also suggest using Mailbox Drive only as an online storage, and never as your permanent file location (always keep physical backups of your files). If you still cant find your MP3 please contact us and tell us more.


 

Why doesnt my mp3 code or mp3 url play in the brow


If you are experiencing problems with your mp3 playing, please confirm that your computer has a working soundcard and you have an mp3 player installed. If you are getting lags, delays, clipping, or interupted music please verify that you are not downloading too much on your internet connection. If your profile has tons of codes, other servers may slow down your mp3 and make your mp3 not play. Other symptoms of none playing or distored sounds are the results of inadequate computer processor, memory, or the existence of spyware, network firewalls, and virus. If you believe you have some other problem please contact us.


 

Where is my activation email?


Mailbox Drive cannot gauruntee delivery of any email links or urls. As soon as your upload finishes, our server fires an email off to your email address. There is no lag. You should recieve your email within 1 or 2 minutes. If you did not get an email, please contact your email provider, they have either failed to deliver it, or it is pending delivery on your mail servers.

Many email providers have strict spam filters that may or may not allow our emails to reach your inbox. If you are not receiving our emails please try the following:

1. Check to make sure you are using the right email address.
2. Check your spam box or bulk folder.
3. Make sure our email address is in your Address Book.
4. Login and try to resend your activation emails.
5. Please be patient, if delivery is pending at your ISP, it will come.



If you are still not receiving our emails, please contact us. Be sure to tell us what email address you are trying to use.


 

How much space do I get?


Free users are limited to 100 MB of space. Paid users enjoy as much as 1 GB of file storage space. Please register for our premium service to enjoy larger uploads, multiple uploads, and file management.


 

How does MAILBOX Drive work?


Mailbox Drive is simple! All you have to do upload files from your computer to your Mailbox Drive. Once on your drive you can access your files at anytime using your personal urls. For your security and protection as well as to verfiy you who you say you are, we require that you activate ALL mp3s. If you are not receiving our emails, register a paid account and you can activate without email.


 

What is Mail Box Drive and mailboxdrive.com?


Mailbox Drive is your online hard drive. Just like the harddrive in your computer, you can use Mailbox Drive to store personal files such as images, mp3s, and documents. Unlike your harddrive, you can access Mailbox Drive from anywhere in the world. You will have total access to your files with your secret password and email address when you login to Mailbox Drive. Publically you be given personal urls on mailboxdrive.com that allow you to share your files with friends, family, and website visitors.
